Westside Youth Rugby first competed in the Colorado Youth Rugby TRY Rugby League in 2008. In our first year, we fielded teams in three of the seven age groups. Our U15 Girls Team won the 2008 State Championship Match, and our other two age groups took third place or higher.

During the 2009 season, Westside Youth Rugby doubled in size. We fielded teams for six of the seven TRY Rugby age groups. Four Westside Youth Rugby teams won State Championships in 2009. (U7 coed, U13 boys, U13 Girls and U15 Girls)
