Welcome to the 2011 SWARM girls high school rugby season. Whether you are new to rugby or are an experienced player, our goal is to create an inclusive team environment that encourages enthusiasm for the game. Our USA Rugby certified coaches specialize in introducing new players and parents to the sport of rugby.
Our certified coaches work with our players to improve individual skills and abilities, so each athlete develops to their full potential. The sportsmanship, athletic skill and fitness our players develop while playing rugby help our young athletes to improve at sports such as football, soccer, basketball and lacrosse.
SWARM Girls Rugby competes as part of Rugby Colorado Division I high school girls league. We recruit players from Jefferson County and south-west Arapahoe County. Our team currently includes players from Columbine, Chatfield, Dakota Ridge, D'Evelyn, Lakewood, and Heritage High Schools.
SWARM won the Division II High School Championship in 2010, has won numberous TRY Rugby Championships, and has sent many of our athletes to the U-19 ERRFU Select Side Team. Past SWARM RFC athletes are currently playing college rugby at schools including: University of Colorado, Colorado State University, and University of Northern Colorado.
